Meet Amy: Your Dedicated Dog Training Partner

My Lifelong Passion for Animals

From the moment I could speak, I knew my calling was to work with animals. My journey in dog training began nearly a decade ago, and it's been a tail-wagging adventure ever since.

My experience includes

  • A woman smiling in a pink sweatshirt standing next to a black and white dog sitting on a stone pedestal, with a mountain landscape and sky in the background.

Working with a professional dog walking company

  • A curly-haired golden retriever dog wearing a yellow harness standing in a shallow creek with a rural landscape in the background.

    Volunteering with Dogs Trust trainers

  • Red and black badge with the text "IM DT" and a silhouette of a dog inside the dot of the letter 'I'. The badge also includes the phrases "Dog Trainer" at the top and "Qualified & Approved" at the bottom.

Achieving distinction in my IMDT assessment

  • Two people, a woman and a man, standing together at a booth promoting pet dog scent detection. They are smiling and wearing black shirts with a logo. The booth has a banner with the words 'Scent Detection for Pet Dogs' and an American flag-themed paw print logo.

Becoming a gold UK sniffer dog trainer

A woman lying on a bed with pink floral sheets, smiling and taking a selfie with two dogs, one large yellow with floppy ears and a big nose on the left, and a medium-sized black, white, and tan dog with one eye visible on the right, in a room with purple walls and a metal bedframe.

But it wasn't always easy. When I adopted my border collie puppy, I faced challenges that made me doubt my abilities. Instead of giving up, I dove deeper into training techniques, discovering a passion that would shape my career.

Today, my mission is to help pet owners who've struggled like I did. I believe in building strong bonds between dogs and their humans through fun, positive training methods.

A woman with long dark hair, sunglasses on her head, smiling, taking a selfie outdoors with her black and white dog, sitting next to her, under a tree.
A small white dog running towards the camera on a grassy field with trees in the background.

Looking ahead, I dream of creating a comprehensive canine centre with a swimming pool, sensory garden, and both indoor and outdoor training areas. It's a big goal, but with the support of wonderful clients like you, I know it's possible.

“Amy's Puppy classes were excellent. Our little Whizzy had a great time and learnt some very helpful skills. It was a great starting point for his training... and tiring stuff for little pups - he always enjoyed a good nap afterwards. Would definitely recommend.”

“We have attended Amy's Bronze Sniff Training with our 7-month old cocker spaniel. We have enjoyed it so much and I can only recommend Amy. It was all very well organised and both us and our dog had fabulous time. We are now enrolled in continuation class and still loving it!”
